What are the precautions for using nail-free glue?

2024-10-12

The following are precautions for using nail-free glue.

1. Nail-free glue is flammable and is not allowed to be brought on board.

2. The operating environment temperature of nail-free glue should be between 5℃ and +40℃.

3. It cannot be used in humid and waterlogged areas.

4. The material can be used for polyvinyl chloride; but not for polyethylene and polypropylene.

5. It has a certain waterproof function and can be used outdoors.

6. When applying glue, the glue strip must have a certain thickness and there must be a gap between the glue strips after pressing to ensure that the glue strip is completely cured. (You can put a toothpick in the glue strip to ensure that the glue layer has sufficient thickness. It is recommended to leave a gap of 25mm between the glue strips).

7. When using indoors, ensure good ventilation conditions and do not smoke. Remove all nearby flammable materials and equipment that may produce sparks until the solvent is completely evaporated, open all doors and windows to allow air convection, and avoid direct contact with eyes, clothes and skin.

8. Store in a dry, cool place at a temperature of 21℃+/-3℃.

9. If skin contact occurs, rinse with clean water. If eye contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.

10. Pay attention to the model when pasting mirrors. Some models of nail-free glue products are not suitable for pasting mirrors, while some models can. After applying glue to the mirror, do not move it left and right or scrape it too much. The mercury surface of some mirrors is not well made. If the glue is scraped back and forth on the mirror too much, the mercury surface may be scratched.
